Taco Salad Supreme

We have this meal at least once a week - it is a never-fail-to-please meal, and it's also fast and easy.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 qt black beans (precooked)
  • 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 2 cup lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 avocado, cubbed
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, sliced in wedges
  • 1 sour cream
  • 1 bag of corn chips (non-gmo)
Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef and season it with taco seasoning or a mixture of oregano, chile powder, garlic powder, cumin powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat beans and put in a bowl. Chop, slice, and prepare all toppings and place out in individual bowls. Grate cheese.
  3. Place all ingredients, including chips, sour cream, all toppings, meat and beans out salad-bar-style. Each person will layer their taco salad in this order (or as they please): Chips, meat, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, squeeze of lime juice, sour cream.
