Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients
  • 3 cup peeled and sliced apples
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Crumble Topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 4 tbsp softened butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
  1. Make a pie crust, for which there is a recipe on this site. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Peel and slice apples, mix all pie ingredients together in one bowl. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
  3. Mix all Crumble Topping ingredients together in another bowl. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until pie is bubbling and apples feel tender to an inserted knife or fork.
